What inspires you to start your own company
Neccesory is registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 26th February, 2015 as an Enterprise. An Urban environment where processed food is prevalent but healthy produce are harder to come by gave birth to NECCESORY.
Providing healthier alternative food products to Nigerians through sourcing for Fresh Farm Produce, Unadulterated Food products like Pure Honey ?? which so many people finds tough to get the Pure Local Honey. Neccesory launched in 2015 with three (3) food products…….Unripe Plantain Flour, Raw unprocessed Honey, Stone free Dried Fish. As much as eating healthy is good,I found out that most beautifully packaged body care products are full of harmful chemicals.
According to Research, it takes 26 seconds for any chemical in your body care products to go into the blood stream. When I was an undergraduate I suffered from severe skin condition and uneven skin tone. I spent so much money visiting Dermatologist, the condition goes after taking some steroids creams and drugs but will resurface after a while. I got tired and One day in my room I remembered some of my great grand mom Beauty routine because I grew up with my Great grandma and This led to my researching our indigenous organic ingredients such as African black soap, Organic Shea But butter, Coconut oil, Raw Honey, Camwood etc.
After a while, I discovered my body was lacking so much moisture and also I needed to detox my body system from toxins. Further going on to develop to develop my own unique formula which helped heal my skin condition. I saw need to celebrate Natural African Beauty and provide families with products that allow them to take a more Natural approach to their beauty routine. My passion for beauty and idea to make products that have absolutely no artificial additives to solve common beauty problems gave birth to GLOWREGRAYX Herbal Beauty….. A subsidiary of NECCESORY.
I create these products with real passion and genuine love for what I love doing and that is why every pack, bottle, cup of our products contains Confidence, Self love, unadulterated ingredients that gives unadulterated benefits to the Skin. So, you are safe buying from Us
From my experience with Majority of the Client , I discovered So many people tend to pay attention to the external ignoring the internal. Because health and beauty is inter wined, I decided to seek more knowledge by going for a Herbal Medicine so as to be able to treat both the internal and external Skin Issues. I went in for a Certificate program in Herbal Medicine at Green Center Academy.I proceeded to Lagos Traditional Medicine Board where I did another training in Herbal Medicine after which I was given a License to Practice. So, I am a Certified and Licensed Herbal Medicine Practitioner.

What challenges have you faced starting up your business?
As a Start Up business, I had funding challenges but I am grateful to God for blessing me with a Supportive MOTHER. My Mom literally gave me a hundred Thousand Naira(N100,000)to start my business then and with the little I had too I started. Setting up an Online Store made it easier for me though as I didn’t have to bother about getting a physical shop,I did a lot of Direct Selling by going from one offices to the other, Marketing my products from one government agencies to another.I put in a whole of efforts to put my brand out there. The Brand experience always brings more Customers as those who have experienced our products reffered other people .
What would you say prepared you for this entrepreneur journey you’re on?
Since I was Seven years in my primary school,I will take coconut from my granny’s shop and break it and beg my Grannie to make coconut Chips for me,I will tie this coconut Chips and take it to school then and sell to my mates.I have always love to sell basically may be because I grew with my grannies that has a herbal store where so many people come to buy stuffs everyday. So,I will say it’s an inborn thing in me.Through out my stay in university,I was into buying and selling of beauty and fashion items.I could remember the way my mom was shocked one day she came unannounced to my school and got to my place to find my room loaded with lots of clothes, bags, shoes and accessories for sale.On my free days in school,I will go to Lagos Island to source for nice stuffs and sell to my fellow students. This made me live the kind of life I wanted as I love to be fashionable and look good.I graduated with about One hundred and Eighty thousand (180,000) as a graduate. While I was even working and getting salary,I also had my side business by the side which I do during my free time. So, Entrepreneurship for me as been something I know I will end up with.
