Although the event industry can be vast and demanding, Pastor Abosede chooses to handle decorations, event planning, and event coordination. Today, she is a globally recognized event planner.

Only individuals with a mature and audacious mindset who have a keen eye for detail can become event planners. Everything is time-bound, detail-oriented, and requires grace to work with a team. One must be resilient to navigate the challenges and be strong to handle the pressures of the job.

How did you raise the initial capital for the business?
The event business is service-oriented, so little to no capital is needed initially. Most items can be rented, and clients pay for services rendered. With good job delivery, one can gradually accumulate the necessary tools over time.

Doing business in Nigeria’s volatile economy is challenging. Investing in tools and items, storage space limitations, and the economic effects on forex are some of the key obstacles. Additionally, many Nigerians expect the best services but are often reluctant to pay for them.

When faced with tough times, have you ever considered quitting the event industry?
Many times! However, quitting is not an option until you succeed. I have experienced fatigue, exhaustion, and occasional feelings of depression. I take the time to reflect on my business journey and muster the courage to continue. Overcoming challenges allows us to attract higher-paying clients over time.

Our goal is to become a world-class organization of Nigerian origin, introducing professionalism into the hospitality business and providing excellent event solutions from Nigeria to the world.

Apart from event planning, what other skills do you possess?
I have a knack for self-discovery, imparting knowledge to the next generation, and cooking for personal enjoyment. I am naturally creative.

What advice do you have for the younger generation aspiring to follow in your footsteps?
Success requires diligence. They must be willing to put in the effort and have the desire and diligence to improve themselves. Always strive for self-improvement to remain relevant.
