It was a historic and colorful Sunday on July 27th, 2025, as members, friends, and well-wishers of the Rotary Club of Badore, District 9112, gathered at the elegant White Courts Hotel, Ajah, Lagos, for a remarkable occasion — the Exchange of Leadership.
In a graceful handover, Irresistible President, Rotarian Babatunde Shola Sunday, adorned his successor with the Collarette — the emblem of leadership, officially ushering in the administration of United President, Rotarian Emmanuel Akinyemi-Sanya PHF, to steer the club through the 2025/2026 Rotary year.

In his inaugural speech, President Akinyemi-Sanya charged members to uphold the Four-Way Test and live out the Rotary motto: “Service Above Self.” He promised a Rotary year filled with transformational humanitarian projects while strengthening bonds within the club and extending goodwill to Rotarians in the diaspora.
“Rotary is good, and it is a platform for meaningful service to humanity. I invite everyone here — members and guests alike — to become full Rotarians,” he said with conviction
