A GLOBAL GATHERING OF GRATITUDE, PRAISE, LEADERSHIP, AND FELLOWSHIP AT THE BANQUET OF PRAISE 2026
It was a resounding, spirit-filled, and colourful celebration as members of the Shining Stars Mentoring Tribe, a subsidiary of ALAGA – The Traditional Wedding Compere, gathered in grand style for their 2026 Annual Thanksgiving Celebration.
The annual thanksgiving was organized to express heartfelt gratitude to God for His mercy, divine protection, and the countless blessings enjoyed throughout the year 2025. Members came together in unity to celebrate God’s faithfulness in an atmosphere richly filled with joy, reverence, praise, and thanksgiving.
THEME: BANQUET OF PRAISE 2026 The event was held under the powerful and inspiring theme, “Banquet of Praise 2026,” a theme that perfectly captured the essence of gratitude, celebration, and total appreciation to God.
The programme was both rich and impactful, featuring soul-lifting songs of praise, fervent prayers, intense worship sessions, words of exhortation, Bible readings, inspiring testimonies, and creative drama presentations. The Shining Stars Choir and Drama Group added colour, depth, and spiritual intensity to the celebration with outstanding ministrations that left a lasting impression on all in attendance.
As the Holy Bible admonishes:

Beyond the spiritual upliftment, the event also provided a platform for networking, fellowship, relaxation, and the forging of new relationships, further reinforcing the Tribe’s strong culture of mentorship, unity, and community.

A GRAND GATHERING OF GLOBAL MEMBERS
The celebration commenced promptly at 9:00 a.m. with a glamorous Red Carpet reception at the prestigious Ballroom of Marriott Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
Members of the Shining Stars Mentoring Tribe converged from across the globe, with attendees arriving from the United Kingdom, United States of America, Dubai, as well as different parts of Nigeria including Abuja and Ilorin, making the event truly international in scope and significance.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Convener, Erelu Dr. Mrs. Bisola Bamidele, CEO of Bisbam Global Ventures, charged members to embrace 2026 as a year of divine blessings, expansion, and abundant opportunities.
She encouraged them to remain committed, proactive, and intentional, urging members to position themselves to seize every opportunity the new year presents. She further admonished them to work hard, think progressively, uphold good character, and above all, continually seek the face of God, emphasizing that with God, all things are possible.
