PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE IN NIGERIA’S ENERGY SECTOR
Currently serving as Deputy Manager, PSC Materials and Services at NNPC Upstream Investment Management Services (NUIMS), Engr. Chukwu plays a strategic role in supporting key upstream operations within Nigeria’s vital energy sector. Since joining NNPC in 2012, he has contributed significantly to major offshore developments, including the Bonga NorthWest and Bonga North projects, as well as critical modifications on the Bonga Main FPSO—projects that remain pivotal to Nigeria’s oil production capacity.
Before his distinguished tenure at NNPC, he built a strong professional foundation with Cakasa Nigeria Company Limited and DeltaAfrik Engineering Limited, a subsidiary of Worley Parsons, where he honed his expertise in electrical and instrumentation engineering. His career journey also includes specialized international training at Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, South Korea, further strengthening his global technical exposure and operational insight.

Academically, Engr. Chukwu’s achievements reflect exceptional brilliance and discipline. From graduating with Distinction and emerging the Best Engineering Student at both ND and HND levels, to earning a First-Class degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Lagos, his academic journey has consistently reflected excellence.
He later obtained an MBA from the University of Lagos and a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Austin.
A participant of the AIG Public Leaders Programme and an alumnus of the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, he represents a new generation of globally exposed Nigerian leaders shaping the future.

Notably, he holds two of the most prestigious professional fellowships in Nigeria’s engineering community. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (FNIEEE) as well as a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE)—honours reserved for professionals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions, leadership, and impact within the engineering profession.
In addition, he is a Certified Supply Chain Manager, further strengthening his multidisciplinary expertise within the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Engr. Chukwu’s leadership finds powerful expression in humanitarian service through Rotary International. As the 24th President of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro for the 2025–2026 Rotary Year, his tenure has been defined by impactful initiatives guided by the theme “Unite for Good.”
Under his leadership, the club has empowered young entrepreneurs through the provision of essential working tools, enabling economic independence and sustainable livelihoods. One of the highlights of his presidency is the execution of a landmark Star Project—the renovation and equipping of Wards C1 and C2 at Odan General Hospital, a project that has significantly enhanced healthcare delivery within the community.

His humanitarian footprint extends further through compassionate outreach to the Ikoyi Maximum Security Custodial Centre, impactful girl-child sanitation initiatives promoting dignity and confidence among young girls, and generous contributions to The Rotary Foundation.
