From 1–9 August 2026, the Rotary Club of Apakun Ajao Estate proudly demonstrated its commitment to youth development by supporting RYLA 2026 — Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, an intensive nine-day leadership and citizenship development experience held at the Sea School Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, Apapa, Lagos.
With more than 400 young leaders participating across the Rotary District, RYLA 2026 provided a powerful platform for young people to develop confidence, leadership skills, resilience, teamwork, character and meaningful networks.

EMPOWERING OVER 400 YOUNG LEADERS TO DISCOVER THEIR POTENTIAL
RYLA offered participants far more than conventional leadership training. Through an immersive experience, young people were encouraged to build self-confidence, strengthen their capacity for teamwork, develop resilience and cultivate the character required for responsible leadership.
