The remembrance ceremony was both solemn and colourful as several respected Islamic clerics led special prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late matriarch. They also prayed for continued unity, divine protection, good health and abundant blessings upon the entire family.
Delivering a profound message during the gathering, Sheikh Agbesinga urged the children and descendants of the late Iya Ibeta to continue strengthening their family bond through genuine love, mutual respect and constant prayers. According to him, nurturing these timeless values would lay the foundation for enduring peace, success and prosperity within the family for generations to come.
The clerics unanimously prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive her shortcomings, grant her eternal rest and admit her into Al-Jannatul Firdaus, while also blessing the entire family with long life, peace, unity and prosperity.

In honour of her cherished memory, the Atiko, Erinfolami, Agunbiade and Tijani families gathered on Sunday, 2nd August, 2026, at Ijele Beach Hotels & Resorts, Ojo, Lagos, for a befitting 15th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony. The well-attended event brought together family members, friends, associates, Islamic scholars and well-wishers in an atmosphere filled with love, gratitude and heartfelt prayers.
The remembrance ceremony served not only as an occasion to honour the remarkable life of the late matriarch but also as a celebration of the enduring values she instilled in her family—love, discipline, hard work, peace and the fear of God. Though she is no longer physically present, her cherished memories continue to unite and inspire everyone privileged to have known her.

A major highlight of the remembrance ceremony was the presence of one of the prominent daughters of the late matriarch, Alhaja Dr. Chief Mrs. Taofikat Ayinke Bello, popularly known as Ayinke Alagbo, the Chief Executive Officer of Ayinke Alagbo Tradomedical, with business operations in Nigeria, the United States of America and Canada.
A distinguished entrepreneur and philanthropist, she is also the Founder of the Ayinke Foundation, an organisation dedicated to empowering widows, the elderly, orphans and other vulnerable members of society.
During the event, she showcased several of her company’s products, including the newly introduced Ayinke Alagbo Zobo Drink and Olori Oko Bitters, while other healthcare products were displayed for marketing, customer enquiries and public enlightenment. The product exhibition attracted considerable attention from guests, many of whom commended the quality and innovation behind the brand.
