THREE DAYS OF JOYOUS CELEBRATION
The wedding festivities commenced on Thursday, July 30, 2026, with a special family introduction and brief engagement ceremony, where both families formally met to strengthen their bond and celebrate the couple’s journey toward marriage.
The celebration continued on Friday, July 31, 2026, with the couple’s registry wedding, marking the legal solemnisation of their union in the presence of family members and invited guests.
The grand finale was held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 21, Anthony Obe Street, Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos. The wedding ceremony commenced at 12:00 noon in a serene, dignified, and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
A SOLEMN AND SPIRITUALLY UPLIFTING CEREMONY
The ceremony opened with Opening Song No. 131, followed by introductory remarks from the chairman, Brother Fredrick Ehiagwina. The opening prayer was offered by Brother Akinola Matthew, while the marriage discourse was delivered by Brother Aboderin James, who charged the couple to build their marriage on genuine love, mutual respect, loyalty, faithfulness, and unwavering commitment.
The ceremony concluded with Closing Song No. 132, followed by the closing prayer led by Brother Olatunbosun Agboola, leaving guests inspired by the scriptural counsel and joyful spirit that characterised the occasion.
THE COUPLE
The groom, Akinola Endurance Taiwo, is a graduate of Electrical/Electronics Engineering and hails from Ikirun, Osun State. Known for his calm disposition and determination, he has continued to distinguish himself through hard work and integrity.
His bride, Ekewuba Racheal Chiwendu, is a graduate of Accounting and a proud native of Oguta, Imo State. She is admired for her grace, intelligence, and warm personality, qualities that endeared her to family and friends.
Together, their union represents a beautiful blend of cultures, bringing together the rich heritage of Osun State in the South-West and Imo State in the South-East in a celebration of love, unity, and shared purpose.
